All players will spawn in a pre-determined station where passes will spawn randomly anywhere in the map. Once the round begins, all players will exit their current train before it departs, leaving players to gather their passes or steal from others. When the next train arrives, players with passes must make it to the train before it departs to win, and players without one must be able to steal one. The players that remain in the station (i.e. those who don’t have a pass to enter the train) will lose and be eliminated. To make this more intense, players can buy/gather weapons and cards from the train and the map that can improve their chances of winning.
Players are able to select gamemodes that bend rules and have their own mechanics. The general rule is that players must be able to get a pass to enter the train and win. Gamemodes can be selected by players (Private Servers), or randomized (Public Servers). You can see the full list of all the gamemodes, whether active or not:
Maps, preferably known as Stations, are playable arenas in the game that players spawn in to play. They can contain their own gameplay gimmicks to enhance the map’s theme or game’s intensity. Maps are either made by the DUOTON Rail Group, or by the community. For the full list of published maps, visit:
Weapons are combat tools players can buy/attain from the train’s NPCs and other players to get an advantage in the arena. Weapons will only be used for one round, therefore players cannot have the same weapon after using it for the current round. A maximum of one (1) weapon can only be used per round as well. Weapons can also be gathered from a player that was killed or switched to a new weapon. For the full list of weapons, visit:
Cards are special powerups that give players special advantages/disadvantages to themselves or to others, which are bought from the NPCs in the train. Players can only have a maximum of 3 cards, however these cards can be kept for succeeding rounds, unlike weapons. Cards can either be thrown to another player (for negative powerups) or be used to themselves (for positive powerups) that grant an effect to them. For the full list of cards, visit:
